Zephaniah 2:2-4

2 Before the decree [a]takes effect—
The day passes (A)like the chaff—
Before the (B)burning anger of Yahweh comes upon you,
Before the (C)day of Yahweh’s anger comes upon you.
3 (D)Seek Yahweh,
All you (E)humble of the [b]earth
Who have worked His justice;
(F)Seek righteousness, seek humility.
Perhaps you will be (G)hidden
In the day of Yahweh’s anger.

4 For (H)Gaza will be [c]forsaken
And Ashkelon a desolation;
(I)Ashdod will be driven out at noon,
And (J)Ekron will be uprooted.
